Temperament not assessed in Paddock
The heifers moved quickly when being worked through the yards and crush when pressure is put on, however settled once pressure is released. These heifers have had very little work done with them as weaners and as a result they behave as previously mentioned above. As the video shows the heifers are settled and are mostly not fussed when in a larger yard with people walking around them. More yard work and tailing would benefit these heifers.

Assessor Comments
Buyers, here is a light 4 deck line of good quality, tropical coated, EU accredited flatback heifers. They have a live weight range of 205kg to 299kg and averaged 266kg at assessment. The heifers stand on moderate bone and show good frame. These heifers are usually taken through to trade weight feeders however would suit the market of your choice, they will grow out to good quality slaughter heifers or would make good heavy feeders. This lot have been pretreated for tick clearance, if a purchase is made from the tick free zone it will be the purchasers responsibility to follow all tick clearing rules. Buyers please make note to read the temperament comment. Please note there is 3 heifers in this lot with fly bite scaring. The Vendor also has one light 3 deck lot available in the same sale.
