3 DECKS OF VERY GOOD QUALITY HGP FREE FEEDER STEERS FROM THE GREEN FAMILY. 77 HEAD WERE PURCHASED FROM GEORGETOWN IN MAY THIS YEAR. THE PURCHASED STEERS ARE VERY WELL BRED CATTLE FROM A FAMILY THAT HAS BEEN BREEDING RED BRAHMAN / SENEPOL & BRANGUS CATTLE FOR OVER 20 YEARS. ADDED TO THIS ARE 7 VENDOR BRED CATTLE OF EQUALLY GOOD QUALITY. ALL OF THESE CATTLE ARE DOING WELL ON A GOOD BULK OF DRY MITCHELL AND FLINDERS GRASS AND WILL THRIVE AHEAD ON GOOD GRASS OR GRAIN. THEY ALL HAVE THE STRETCH AND FRAME TO MAKE GOOD BULLOCKS, ARE QUIET TO HANDLE THROUGH THE YARDS AND HAVE BEEN HANDLED WELL. 301 TO 504KG TO AVERAGE 340 KG AT ASSESSMENT. ALL WERE MOUTHED WITH 73 MILK TEETH, 2 HEAD JUST LOOSING THEIR MILK TEETH AND 9 HEAD WITH 2 TEETH. THE 11 X 2 TEETH STEERS ARE 331 TO 504KG. 6 HEAD HAVE A SLIGHT HUMP, 35 HEAD HAVE A DEFINED HUMP. 1 HEAD HAS SMALL WARTS.
