Weaners were drafted straight off their mothers and then processed/weighed through the race. Two steers got quite agitated in the yards and whilst weighing, but seemed to settle ok once back with the mob and whilst taking photo's and videos. The Elliott cattle are generally easy to handle cattle and would expect these weaners to be of the same ilk with more human contact and handling.

Assessor Comments
Annual draft of the Elliott Family Autumn drop weaners 9-10 months which carry Dunoon, Table Top and Shacorrahdalu bloodlines. Bred in the South Eastern Slopes, these cattle carry a solid reputation for performance, and given the opportunity will carry heavy weights at a young age. Steers are bred from medium to large frame roomy females and display ample length and shape. Note some steers show some old ringworm scarring. Steers were weaned at assessment and will be yard weaned and race trained for five days prior to returning to quality pasture paddock as per usual weaning protocols. PCAS Grass Assured declaration available at purchasers request.
