Typically the Winnidad cattle are very good to handle. Working heifers through was no issue, but heifers did seem worked up when weighing. They had just been run in from paddock and three different faces would have been contributing factors. Heifers were constantly on the move at start of photographing but settled after a while. Would suggest these cattle will settle with maturity and handling.

Assessor Comments
A very good quallity offering of 151 Angus heifers offered as a run out that gate of 90 & 61 head presenting in forward store to forward condition. They have received their 7-in-1 booster vaccination and are sired by Chiltern Park & Weeran Angus bulls, bred from a herd of Banquet, Barwidgee & Weeran blood cows. The Winnidad operation selects genetics on structure, fertility traits, above average growth, above 2.0 for IMF and positive fat. They have not seen the bull. Heifers are in healthy, fresh condition although approx 5 head are showing signs of healing ringworm. Two heifers had white extending to navel, with several head noted to have white around udder. The Winnidad herd are noted performance cattle that have performed for previous purchasers. They will mature into deep bodied, functional matrons if given the opportunity. Presents a terrific opportunity to acquire very well bred, Angus heifers ready to join as future breeders or background and finish to trade or export markets.
