Steers were good to handle throughout the yards and race. Three steers became unsettled in the crush and exited quickly. All settled when back together in the holding yard and remained quiet when being photographed.

A good to mostly very good line of vendor bred steers located 5km East of Goondiwindi. Mostly medium framed steers with the remainder large framed. These steers have not had access to grain or cotton seed and would suit to take to export feeder weights or alternatively take to heavy slaughter weights. Steers are sired by registered Mooroobie Angus bulls with Angus & Angus cross cows. Steers were yard weaned on 31/10/23 onto Oaten hay from hay racks and will remain on this untill delivery. All steers have had two vaccinations of 5 in 1. They were good to handle in the yards at assessment and will be worked through the yards during weaning. Please note the sisters of this line are also in this same sale, which have been pregnancy tested by a vet and given an Ovuprost injection.
