Assessor Comments
Offering a well bred draft of principally Poll Dorset sired store lambs. Lambs present in store to forward store condition, have had a 6-in-1 vaccination and copper, selenium & cobalt shots. They have been well weaned and a 20% tail was removed prior to assessment. The Brown lambs are typically finished to trade and heavy trade weight, but due to prevailing dry summer in the area this draft are being offered to market. Sired by the Shellal Poll Dorset rams, these lambs should push out to heavy trade and export lambs if shown the right conditions (NOTE: Nutrien Timboon are offering around 3200 locally bred, late drop crossbred lambs this sale, both shorn & in the wool that may help trucking arrangements).
