On offer is the 2nd draft of 250 Dec 22 to Jan 23 Drop X-Bred Store lambs that give buyers plenty of time to finish through to heavier kill weights. These lambs have been part of an on farm commercial trial comparing 4 terminal breeds on their growth and carcass characteristics. The vendor has selected trait leading sires from Felix and Greywood Poll Dorsets, Roseville Park Charolias and Coronga White Suffolks. The remainder of the lambs will be retained on farm to be finished and followed through for carcass evaluation. As you can see from their age the lambs have performed well with plenty of growth left. All best efforts have been made to represent their breeding, but they are not guaranteed. There are 2 lambs with long tails in the offering. Some lambs are soft in the feet; best efforts have been made to remove lame lambs at assessment and will be made at delivery.
