Here is an opportunity to purchase a small line of stud registered Poll Dorset ewes and lambs. These ewes come from the vendor's Wattle Poll Dorset Stud (flock no. 4563) and are offered for sale as a stud dispersal to simplify farming operations. Ewes are sired by Ridgehaven 170001 and Springwaters 110306, with the lambs at foot sired by Ridgehaven 210725. There are 5 ewe hoggets amongst the ewes which do not have a lamb at foot. The lambs at foot have been tail docked, with the ram lambs left entire. Ewes will have been running back to the ram Ridgehaven 210725 for 3 weeks at delivery, and the vendor would be happy to sell this ram with the ewes to complete the joining. The vendor has used rams from the stud to breed their own 2nd cross lambs, which have topped the lamb sale at Forbes Central West Livestock Exchange on a number of occasions as both suckers and heavy export lambs. Great opportunity to purchase a complete registered stud flock of ewes and lambs.
