Temperament not assessed in Paddock
These cows typical of the Bos Indicus background are very watchful in the yards. They are edgy when in the confinement of the race and crush, and a lot happier when in the bigger yards. When taking the photos I was able to move around the yard without any problem, one cow always pushes to the middle of the mob but there was no aggression. Anecdotally, the vendor says they are easy to move in the paddock, know where the gate is, and have put no pressure on the fences.

Assessor Comments
This mob of Cross bred cows present a good opportunity to buy experienced breeders that are not too old. Although described when bought as 5-8 years old, most Age brands visible were "7" suggesting they are in fact younger. PTIC in calf to a Reiland Angus bull, they are primed to produce an Angus cross Autumn calf for the successful buyer. Note, the cows were in a paddock basically devoid of feed the day prior to assessment, and yarded 6 hours before assessment. The vendor also has 22 Angus Santa type cows, same joining, in the same sale.
