Assessor Comments
Mostly young cows which either have calves at foot or had calves weaned off them at assessment. Note continuously joined. The Angus bull used is an own bred bull which goes back to Tex Angus blood and is listed in this same sale at a reserve of $2500. There appears to be a red factor in the bull or cows which is contributing to the red in the younger cows and the calves. The Wagyu cross cows in the line are by an AACo bull, exact pedigree not available at assessment. The cows are doing a good job on the calves but there are 2 woody calves in the group which are twins. Note the male calves have not been marked. The cows are sound apart from normal wear and tear, the younger cows in particular good udders and feet. There is a small amount of buffalo fly on the cows and calves. The fly is starting to affect the cows around the eyes, particularly those with slicker skin.
