Cows handled well as a group at assessment, with only a small percentage slightly agitated in confined area or when put under pressure. They do have a bit of run in them through gates etc but were easy to handle cattle.

Assessor Comments
Excellent opportunity to put together a very good quality line of PTIC EU Angus heifers from a high performing commercial herd. Heifers are due to commence calving in December- exact joining details are unknown as these joined up early due to a bull getting in (identified as being ~24 weeks at preg testing on 10.8.21). They weighed 528kg full (448-612kg) at assessment, are of moderate - larger frame, are well grown, and in ideal forward store condition. Wando Estate always purchase high indexing Barwidgee Angus bulls with a balanced focus on the major profit drivers. These heifers would make an excellent herd rebuilding opportunity for any Autumn calving herd. Please note; vendor also has another line of 54 later calving PTIC heifers in this sale.
