Temperament not assessed in Paddock
Cows were quiet and are easy to handle in the yards. These cows have been handled by a husband and wife operation which is reflected in the temperament of the cattle. Some cows became agitated in the crush but quickly settled once returning to the mob.
Handled With Bikes , Dogs , On foot , Vehicles
Assessor Comments A light two deck line of PTIC mixed age cows that are greater than 4 months in calf. These cows are just one mob that are on offer from the vendor due to the recent sale of their property. Cows have had large calves removed from them in the past month and are in good order. A sample of the cows were mouthed but under difficult situations they could not be all mouthed (please see dentition). Some horn on 4 cows were removed at assessment so there will be a mark on head where the horn rubbed. One cow was paddle footed in front feet and some cows had lumps on neck due to prior injections. Cows are best described as mainly Charbray cross cows with other crosses. They have been great breeders for the vendor with very good temperament and will produce a quality calf. The "Yanna" cattle always achieve great sale results when selling in the open market due to the quality of cattle produced. Vendor has another four lots in same sale.
