Cows work well through yards with a % becoming s agitated in crush when being mouthed but settled quickly when returned to the mob this would be attributed to being through preg testing 7 days prior

Buyers a VGQ 3 deck line of Santa, Santa/Droughtmaster cross predominately young to mid aged cows preg tested non detectible on 20/6 after a very short joining period. Cows were joined to VGQ Drensmaine blood Santa bulls until assessment and given the fact most have just had weaners removed it would be reasonable to assume a good % would be in early stages of pregnancy. Cows show good bone, depth and softness coupled with their depth of breeding (originally purchased from renowned Western Queensland herds ) would make them ideal to go back into a breeder herd or alternatively would make ideal oats fattening cows as there is good compensatory gains to be had due to the fact of weaner mums and extensive handling
Please note 2 cows noted with slight blue scarring in one eye and 2 with slightly longer toes not considered detrimental also several cows observed with fly rub marks. Cows for part of a total mob of 218 that will be drafted on a run out the gate basis into 3 X 3 deck lots.
