Very quiet cattle and a pleasure to handle. A lot of emphasis is put on the temperament of this herd and the results are evident in these cows. These cows are docile and move easily.

Vendor bred Reiland blood Angus cows with Hazeldean blood calves at foot. Medium to large framed cows weighing 688kg feeding 100kg fresh calves. This consignment is a perfect opportunity to buy quality cows to start a herd or top up numbers with the option to retain heifer calves for future breeders. The temperament of this consignment is faultless with all cows remaining quiet through assessment and mouthing. These cows are all sound in the feet and udders and are presented structurally correct, which is a great attribute being longevity that the calves will possess. The sire is a son of Hazeldean’s Edmund and his quality will shine in his offspring. All cows were mouthed with 8 out of 9 capable or rearing at least one more calf (refer photos of the 2 worst mouths). A quality consignment that comes with my highest recommendation. Only selling to make way for heifers currently being joined and these cows are not usually offered to restockers.
