Temperament not assessed in Paddock
Steers were great to handle in the yards and were generally very quiet. Although there was some typical nervousness as you would expect from young cattle. 3 became restless when too much pressure was applied. Most were sensible on the scales, some would rock back and forth which are listed above as slightly stirry. Electric fence trained.

Assessor Comments
The top draft out of a quality line of well bred Charolais/Angus steers that are responding well to the spring growth. These steers have great frame, shape and depth and have the ability to grow out into heavy weights to suit grass finished or feeder markets. Vendor has selected for Charolais growth traits that complement the quality Angus carcass traits within the herd while also providing hybrid vigour. A nice even line, these steers show excellent weight for age and should continue to make solid gains. Never Ever accredited, Greenham Beef Sustainability Standard, electric fence trained. * Please note vendor has 2 other lots of steers and 2 other lots of heifers in this sale.
