6 DECKS OF VERY GOOD QUALITY HEIFERS. THESE HEIFERS WOULD MAKE FOR IDEAL JOINER HEIFERS OR TO PUT BACK TO THE PADDOCK ON FEED. HEIFERS PRESENT IN A TIDY LINE & WOULD BE A GREAT ADDITION TO ANY CROSSBRED BREEDING OPERATION. HEIFERS ARE BRED IN A CROSSBRED COW HERD USING CHARBRAY, BRANGUS, DROUGHTMASTER, SPECKLE PARK, BRAFORD & BRAHMAN BULLS. THEY PRESENT WITH GOOD WEIGHT & FRAME FOR AGE WITH GOOD BONE & EVEN MUSCLING. THESE HEIFERS WERE ONLY TRUCKED TO BARENYA THE DAY BEFORE ASSESSMENT & HAD BEEN IN HAND FOR A DAY BEFORE THIS, SO GOOD COMPENSATORY GAINS WOULD BE EXPECTED. THEY WERE BUSHED INTO A HOLDING PADDOCK WITH A GOOD BODY OF FEED & HAS HAD 70MM IN THE LAST 7 DAYS. THE HEIFERS WEIGHED FROM 260KG TO 387KG TO AVG 320.3KG AT ASSESSMENT. IN THE 100 WEIGHED 16 HAD SLIGHT HUMP, 11 MEDIUM HUMP & 5 HAD DEFINED HUMP. 56% CREAM, 12% RED, 15% BLACK, 11% BRINDEL & 6% BLACK & TAN, GREY & SPECKLE IN COLOUR.
