Comment on Fat Score 1 Cattle	Heifers are fit to travel up to 1200 km from Julia Creek in one lift. A 12 hour spell is recommended at 800 km if travelling further then 1200 km in one lift. Heifers are in store condition but strong to travel. If travelling over 800 km from Julia Creek a feed on hay would be advised at purchasers expense before trucking. This will also allow time for purchaser/local trucks to arrive after tick clearing process is confirmed. Feeding cost per head approx $2.5. This is at purchasers descretion.

Soft, mainly flatback heifers that will produce progeny suitable for most markets. Majority medium frame with capacity to grow into 220kg+ carcase dressed mature cows. Heifers are branded 2019, however are second round 2019 weaned. Majority are born June to October 2019, therefore 17-22 mth. Temperament is generally good both in & out of yards. Drafted into 3 decks lines by "close of the gate" from a total RED line available of 384 head. Colours are 100% RED, under 10% may have a slight brown tinge. Majority are flat back with under 25% displaying minimal hump. Generally good quality line of long term future breeders or backgrounding.

Grazing Conditions	Open Downs, dry black soil, pastured with a healthy body of good quality, dry palatable Flinders & Mitchell grasses. Returned same

Vendor Comments	Heifers are an un-culled line of mainly second round heifers 2019, offered every year for sale. Born on northern breeder properties & moved to current downs property at 6 months to grow out. Small % are one brand purchased line of similar quality

Joining Details	Station Mated bulls put in: 01/02/2021 bulls taken out: 13/04/2021 (72 days) Bull Breed(s): Composite, Charbray Access to Bulls or Stags outside Joining Period: Not 100% certain an odd neighbouring bull may have joined a small percentage of heifers prior to 1/2/21. If so, will be of commercial herd quality.

Preg Tested?	Yes, this lot was pregnancy scanned, by Dr Trevor Smith (Vet) on 30/03/2021. 29 Head (30.2%) PTIC, from 1 to 2 months (at time of assessment). Certificate Not Available.

Other Joining Details	Vet used ultra sound to test 105hd sample of 384 total & found 30% in calf. This is a SAMPLE guide only & WILL NOT BE CONSISTENT for each mob delivery
