Temperament not assessed in Paddock
All calves were really good to handle. Big % listed as slightly stirry as per the AuctionsPlus temperament guidelines, but really they were just a bit nervous. Only their 2nd time through the yards, and any Wagyu producer knows that they tend to have a bigger flight zone than most cattle. These boys were very well behaved throughout assessment, all led up the race without any nonsense, Some just a bit anxious on the scales. Just wanting a bit more education & handling.

Assessor Comments
This is the first time a line of the Kiewa Valley Wagyus have been offered on the AuctionsPlus platform. Usually retained and then sold direct to feedlot. These young cattle are all on the front foot since weaning, currently achieving an average daily gain of 0.8 - 1.1kg. Out of Table Top Angus & Dunoon Angus Cows, bred with a key focus on IMF, By high marbling Tumbledown & Yalandra Wagyu Sires, These young steers are bred to be absolute marbling machines. Ideal line of cattle for a buyer that can see the value adding potential here and would like a line of F1's to either background or start straight on a feed ration. Please Note. Vendor has 25 Heifer's in same sale. Please see photos & video.
