Steers were very good to handle in all parts of the yards. They fed up into the crush well when being assessed. Some steers did react negatively when tagged in the crush but that is not unusual for cattle. Once they were released from the head bale they settled quickly and walked into the mob. Some cattle moved off quickly when pressure was applied in the yards.

Assessor Comments
Buyers here is a opportunity to buy a great line of Charolais and Charolais/Santa steers presenting in forward store condition that provide a heap of upside for fatteners or feedlots. These steers are really powering on after being on a large oats crops and I expect they will continue to perform on the right feed conditions. Buyers please note at time of assessment 1 steer had a slight cloudy blue eye, steers were dehorned 3 weeks ago and when some were bumped in crush dehorning scars did weep a small amount. The vendor has 106 heifers in the same sale.
