Temperament not assessed in Paddock
These were extremely quiet when handing in all aspects of the yards which is amazing considering they are still yet to be weaned. Some of the quietest cattle I have ever assessed however buyers need to be careful when they are shifted to a new environment and after a truck trip that due care is given to them in order to ensure they are completely settled before showing them the 'bush gate'. Full appropriate weaning protocols are advised.

Assessor Comments
Buyers a very good quality line of young Charolais cross heifers that exhibit excellent weight for age considering their age and the type of country they have come off. These will suit buyers looking to background to heavier domestic feedlot entry weights. They also suit to retain as future breeders and lend themselves to go any breed of bull once grown out. There are four that assessed as horned but in fact it is only very light soft scur about 2 inches long and would be easily removed. The mothers of these were in the yards and I was impressed with their quality and frame so these genetics have obviously passed through to their progeny. I would envisage with the quality of the feed these cows are on and the fact they seem to be still producing plenty of milk I would assume these will be gaining in weight. Please note there are an additional 17 steers that can be used to fill up the deck.
