Excellent cattle to handle, a credit to the vendors strict temperament standards. 1 steer stirred up slightly during weighing but otherwise they were an absolute pleasure to assess and work with

Assessor Comments
A good line of 1 mark Poll Hereford & Black baldy steers. These steers are well grown and are displaying good weight for age. They are steers with bone, and softness. The Chaston Pastoral steers were great to handle and are a testament to the vendors selection criteria for growth, muscle and temperament. These steers were weighed out from 295 to 339 kg. Steers that would suit either a pasture fed bullock operation or feedlot operation. The Chaston cattle have a great reputation for their excellent temperament and doing ability. 5 steers noted with old pink eye scarring in one eye, cosmetic only. Highly Recommended. Grass Fed & No Antibiotics *Note the vendor has 2 other lots of steers, and 2 lots of heifers in this sale* Totalling 97 Steers & 43 heifers.
