| Assessor Comments | A very good line of principally Santa/Droughtmaster heifers. Heifers purchased as NSM and definitely no bulls since purchase. Heifers are well grown and show good bone and type. 149 total number in mob to be sold in two lots - 1 x 89hd, 1 x 60hd drafted 1 x 1 out the gate. Total 149 head weighed averaging 327kgs. Breed description and other figures are based on 60/40 split of total assessment. Some Santa/Droughtmaster heifers show small amount of cross influence. All age brands read are No. 1's. Mouthed 23 head - all good milk teeth. Out of total, 10 head show very slight hump, 2 head medium hump. Quality heifers suitable for trade/export feedlots or would make a very good line of future breeders. Heifers are in good store condition and doing well. On good feed heifers have potential for further good weight gain. |
