CATTLE HANDLE VERY WELL WITH USUAL FLIGHT ZONE EXPECTED FOR BRAHMAN CATTLE. LIKE MOST BRAHMAN CATTLE A SMALL PERCENTAGE WILL BECOME STIRRY IF UNDER PRESSURE. HOWEVER NO CATTLE WERE AGGRESSIVE OR GAVE CAUSE FOR CONCERN. AN EASY FLOWING MOB OF STEERS.

2 DECKS OF HGP FREE STRONG HEALTHY STEERS WITH GOOD FRAME. STEERS WOULD RESPOND QUICKLY TO GOOD FEED CONDITIONS. CATTLE ARE LOCATED IN A TICK FREE LOCATION. AT ASSESSMENT 1 BRINDLES AND 2 BLACKS WERE OBSERVED. IN THE MOB THERE IS 2 WITH SOME HORN FROM POOR DEHORNING BUT OVERALL THE GROUP EXPRESSES A WELL DEHORNED/POLLLED MOB. THESE STEERS WOULD IDEALY SUIT SLAUGHTER/FEEDER OR LIVE EXPORT AFTER A PERIOD ON GOOD PASTURE. THE FRAME SIZE OF THESE STEERS ON AVERAGE WILL LEND TO GREAT WEIGHT GAIN ON GOOD PASTURE. NOTE A SMALL PERCENTAGE OF THE YOUNGER STEERS ASSESSED AT THE SAME TIME OUT OF THE SAME PADDOCK HAVE RING WORM SPOTS. NO SPOTS WERE NOTICED ON THESE BIGGER STEERS BUT JUST WANT TO CLARIFY THEY WERE RUNNING WITH THE YOUNGER STEERS.
