Temperament not assessed in Paddock
Steers worked well through the yards, however were unsettled in the race and head bale which were made up of noisy and moving portable panels of a yard which they had not worked through before. They settled on their release and were easy to work in the bigger yards.

Assessor Comments
These steers would be highly suited to an Organic operation to fatten. Otherwise they would easily suit a trade feedlot job or put on an oats crop and grow out to heavy feeders or fatten to bullocks. A few steers have some hair loss (one quite severe please see photos) suspected to be lice, being Organic they have had no chemical treatments. One steer had a hard lump high on his ribcage, similar to a vacination lump, please see photo. Please note Vendor has 4 lots of steers in the same sale and 3 lots of heifers.
