Steers were very quiet to handle going through the draft & up the race at assessment with ease. Moving cattle between yards they were also very well behaved being easy to steady up block if needed.

Assessor Comments
Buyers a line of 119 VGQ Angus Steers that are very well bred being purchased out of 'Tasmania' weaner sales in March 2025. Steers present with plenty of frame so would expect purchaser to see high compensatory gains on to fresh feed or grain. The vendor is very much up to date with all vaccinations having had 5 in 1, Bovilis MH + IBR, Liverflute, Selenium & a drench when purchased. Mouthed 10 steers at assessment all presenting with sound milk teeth. Steers are being offered $/head or C/kg weighed Quilpie Spell & Weigh with delivery date being 24/11/25. At assessment 10 x head showed blue eye scarring of which 4 x head more prevalent then the others and treated with terramycin Aerosol and 6 x head with small warts around head. Vendor is a vet and believes there should be no issues going forward.
