Assessor Comments
A quality line of 19 Charolais/Droughtmaster yearling steers that present in good forward store condition. This line of well bred steers are ideally suited to bullock fatteners or graziers looking for compensatory weight gains to take through to heavy feeder steer weights. The genetics used by the Lowther family are renown for their doing ability and these steers display plenty of length & depth of body. A handful of steers did stir in the crush at the time of assessment but were a pleasure to handle through the yards & settled well once back in the mob.
