Assessor Comments
On offer is a tidy line of 36 Angus X Angus trade steers averaging 318kg full at assessment, presenting in store to forward store condition. Steers purchased out of the saleyard system in August as part of a normal trading program. They are enjoying a great season on the Tablelands and have performed well, showing plenty of frame, depth, and weight for age. Although breeding history is unknown, the steers display strong Angus type and quality, consistent with the breed. All animal health treatments are up to date, and cattle are ready for their next paddock. Steers have been in a rotational grazing program and are handled every few days when walking them into their next cell, the cattle are trained to one wire electric fencing. Ideal trade types to grow on to heavy feeders or domestic trade weights. A sound opportunity to secure a line of well shaped Angus steers performing well under excellent Tablelands seasonal conditions.
