The Glare Family has been breeding Cashmore Oaklea blood breeding ewes for over 10 years and has been selecting the sires from the top 1% of the maternal index.
The Glares have been selecting their sires on Black feet and nose, High Growth, NLW, Fertility, worm resistance and bare points. Their breeding objective is to breed a ewe that will produce a high number of lambs in the tougher wet conditions of the south west. These ewe lambs have seen a very wet winter and have thrived. They will grow into excellent breeding ewes and produce excellent trade weight and export weight suckers. The Glare family continually hook their terminal lambs at 23kgs carcus or higher. These ewes will not disappoint.
