416 young ewes consisting of 363 green tags J/J 2019 drop and 53 Purple tags J/J 2020 drop, This is the line of young ewes out of the dispersal of 2790 SIL merino breeding ewes from South Gap. The rams went in on the 1st Feb and came out on the 19th of April and were 100% SIL on the 24/04 & 02/05 by Paul Cousins. South Gap have been breeding Merinos for 140 years and these ewes are their genuine breeders this is a sale not to be missed. The South Gap ewes are renowned for their productivity being excellent mothers and cutting a very bright white wool. Ewes were assessed on Wednesday morning and put back on hay until sale time.
