A line of Hamilton Run 2019 drop ewes, which will make ideal breeders for the discerning producer. They have had lambs weaned off them in early July, and are ready to go around again. They were originally purchased as ewe lambs, with the aim of being future breeders. They are now back on the market, because the vendor has restructured his operation, and is now embarking on a wether trading program.
A sample number were mouthed, and all came up as 4 teeth. The very odd ewe has stubby horns, and the very odd ewe showing some wrinkle development. Otherwise they present as medium to large breeding ewes, in mainly good forward store to forward condition, with a very good wool quality pelt on the back.
Please note: these ewes were curfewed in the yards for 24 hours prior to being assessed.
Also, there are some ewes presenting with dirty backsides, they will be crutched prior to delivery to the Jamestown saleyards.
