Assessor Comments
160 FX Border Leicester wether lambs, from a renowned Wellington breeder of top quality FX lambs. These wether lambs require very little finishing to be suitable for trade weight markets, offering a very good opportunity to utilise abundant feed from the extended Spring, for a quick turn around on investment. Lambs are displaying very good body length & possess the breeding potential, with ample time on their side, to grow out further into export weights, with continued access to suitable feed. Lambs are sired by Bindaree & Lynwood rams by large framed Langdene & Allandale ewes, with the vendor taking particular care when selecting suitable sires for his FX ewe breeding operation. These wether lambs, in turn are showing the same consistent quality as a result of many years of refined breeding selection. Lambs have been recently shorn & drenched, & having been running on improved native grass/clover pastures their entire life, they would really bound away on Lucerne or grain.
