Assessor Comments
240 mixed sex lambs all weighed 32-39kg to average 35.6kg full. They are all Sep / Oct drop. Majority of the lambs are sire by high indexing White Suffolk rams however a few Highlander rams were used to top numbers up. All of the lambs are out of Yarram Park based composite ewes. The lambs were weaned in Dec then shorn in Jan and put onto stubbles. There are currently in the feedlot on a barley / lupin / buffer mix with vetch hay. They were treated with exsinosad on the 7/4 due to flys. They would normally be finished however due to the cropping program and the feedlot required to contain ewes they will be sold. They are normally sold at 23kg HSCW.
