Vendor has a long history of merino breeding and has been selecting high grade Gullengamble rams with a specific focus on high weaning weights alongside recent influence from Gunnegaldrie polls with positive fat and muscle measurements. 100% of mob has been individually weighed in Auto drafter between 41-55 kg to Av 44.3 after a 12 hour curfew These lambs have been DNA tested placing their flock profile in the top 20% for yearling weigh within the merinoselect database and placed in top 14% for ADG in last years Australian Merino Production Trial. There is a total of 1290 in mob to be split into two lots and delivered as a run out the gate. Lambs are typically shorn at this time cutting between 3-3.5kg of 17-18 Micron wool and finished into heavy trade or export kills markets.
