Assessor Comments | 302 FX Border wether lambs, from a renowned Wellington breeder of top quality FX lambs. These lambs require very little finishing to be suitable for trade weight markets, offering a very good opportunity to utilise abundant feed from terrific back to back seasons, for a quick turn around on investment. Lambs are displaying very good body length & frame, lacking only the required condition, to grow out further into export weights. Lambs are sired by Bindaree & Lynwood rams over large framed Langdene & Allandale ewes, with the vendor taking particular care when selecting suitable sires for his FX ewe breeding operation. These wether lambs, in turn are showing the same consistent quality as a result of many years of refined breeding selection. Lambs have been recently drenched, & having been running on native grass/clover pastures their entire life, they would really bound away on Improved pastures, forage crops or grain supplement. Ideal candidates to shear & finish quickly. |
