Assessor Comments
Good medium to large frame ewes in store to forward store condition. From a well classed flock of Ninuenook and Willera blood sheep, January shorn and OJD vaccinated as adults. These ewes have been bred for early maturity and plain bodied types. 172 mixed age ewes with 214 Poll Dorset lambs at foot 4 - 8 weeks of age, sired by Illfracombe rams. Ewes are doing a good job with their lambs considering the tight seasonal conditions currently in the Wimmera and they should continue to improve if shown some feed. Note : 1 sheep on the property returned a positive test, by autopsy, for OJD in June 2020. Vendor immediately Gudair vaccinated all grown sheep in the flock. Lambs are approved vaccinates.
