Out of 46 ewes mouthed at assessment, 10 had broken mouths. Other ewes I deemed to be sound in the mouth however some teeth were long as you'd expect due to their age.
Assessor Comments
This is a very good line of 5, 6, & 7 year old WS/Mo X ewes SIL to leading Woolumbool White Suffolk Sires @ 150% in lamb. There is 120 singles and 120 Twinners, identified by a blue dot on their back. Last year vendor went through the ewes and culled out any with bad udders. These ewes all reared an excellent trade or heavy lamb this past season. The rams used over these ewes are purchased from the Woolumbool White Suffolk stud, with a high selection emphasis on low birth weight, quick growth and very high EMA figures. This is a very good opportunity to purchase genuine breeder sheep that are of high quality. Vendor only selling as they have excess ewe numbers. They are in excellent condition and structurally very strong and sound. Of the 46 ewes assessed, 10 had broken mouths.
