Ewes mouthed was a good sample of all age break ups in lot with only 1 out of the 50 showing some slight wear with the balance all sound full mouths.
Assessor Comments
A line of 270 SIL mixed aged merino ewes that present in store to forward store condition. Ewes are best described as large frame, proven breeders and bale fillers. Ewes present with a good start in the jacket with 40mm skin. The sample ewes assessed showed a even spread of ages through the mob from 4.5-7.5 years. At assessment mouthed 50 head, all presented with good sound full mouths with 1 x head showing some slight wear. Ewes assessed all presented to be mulesed but there could be the odd ewe missed at marking. Ewes present a ideal opportunity to lamb out and join to ram of choice or fatten and split.
