Assessor Comments
Opportunity knocks!! These scanned in lamb ewes offer the purchaser the opportunity to secure some very sound, quality poll Merino genetics. These ewes scanned up at 116%. They are paddock run in near Mallala and are bred for medium micron white crimpy fleece and good wool cutting ability. The flock is bred using quality rams from the Baderloo Poll Merino Stud and these genetics are flowing through into the ewes on offer here. The ewes have been mated over a 7 week period to Gum Hill Poll Merino rams. These ewes have very good structure and bone, equally suitable for termainal lamb production as well as self replacing Merino operation. These ewes should be bought with confidence. Vendor is also offering a line of 1.5 year old ewes in the sale.
