Weaners were a pleasure to assess throughout the whole process. Weaners handled the crush and weigh box very well and were very settled when let out out of crush into holding yards.

A Top Quality line of Angus/Droughtmaster cross steers. Steers are sired by top end Hazeldean Angus Bulls out of very functional Droughtmaster cows. Weaners are bred on lighter pasture improved forest country at Pierces creek. Weaners were exceptional to assess and remained very settled throughout the whole process. Cows were displaying that they have already started to dry off and self wean their calves. Weaners present in very strong forward store condition and would perform very well given the right opportunity. Drafted into a very tight weight window from 227-268 kgs after curfew. Their is 3 other lots of Weaner steers and 4 other lots of Heifers in the same sale of Smart Pastoral Holdings. Please note these cattle are in a Cattle tick infested area. Vendor has pre-treated cattle with Dectomax Injectable and will Guarantee weaners clear on farm Monday 13-5-24 via manual inspection and re treated with pour-on on clearing on property. Tight delivery period on 13-5-24 and 14-5-24.
