• Specifications: Made by David Shearer Pty. Ltd Mannum, South Australia, in 1967. 14-foot harvesting width, PTO driven. An upgrade of the 'Type CS' of the early 1960s, it was considered big for that time. The CS-105, by the late 1960s, was a very popular 'popular sized' machine, sold in huge numbers. Heavily constructed specifically for bulk handling grain and using a remote hydrostatic control box mounted on the tractor, it was considered 'state of the art'. History: Purchased 2nd hand by Syd Brown, Maules Creek in 1974. This header possibly harvested more acres over 30+ seasons than any other CS-105 in Australia.
