Dangarfield Bernborough was purchased at the 2020 Dangarfield annual Bull sale for the top price of $29,000. Bernborough was admired for his structural correctness, natural muscling, deep red colour and incredible temperament. To date Bernborough has 137 registered progeny to a combination of Welbatch and Dangarfield studs. 2024 saw the first sons of Bernborough sold at Auction, with a son topping the rostrum at $35,000 at Dangarfield and also the three top priced lots at Brisbane Valley at $20K, $19K and $17K. Overall, 15 classified S bulls were offered at Auction in 2024 achieving an overall average of $12,200. The sons and daughters of Bernborough are synonymous for their fantastic temperaments and consistent natural muscling.

Watasanta Unit 3048 (PP) is sired by the $90,000 Glenn Oaks Ransom R38 (PP). Unit is admired for his tropical skin, softness, deep flank with big baggy pants. He has a strong sires head and stands on good bone, he is extremely docile. Dam Killarney 555 (P) has calved every year since ownership.

Canowindra Gold Edition was purchased in 2009 at the Cardona/Canowindra sale for the top price of $28000 weighing 1110 kgs at 28 ½ months of age. Gold Edition impressed us with his tremendous sire appeal and breed character, poll genetics, frame, skin and softness. His progeny have been equally as impressive producing 132 classified bulls over seven years with 36 sons selected for stud duties including Bullamakinka Kong (Dunlop), Bullamakinka Nick (Warenda), Bullamakinka General (Doorabeeba), Bullamakinka Hercules (Narromine), Bullamakinka H82 (Benelkay), Bullamakinka High Expectation (Wendalla), Bullamakinka Jaguar (Dangarfield), K84 and K476 used at Bullamakinka. Gold Edition has been the foundation sire and made a huge impact at Bullamakinka and arguably the breedwith sons grossing in excess of $1,200,000 and producing the female base breeding very consistently for Bullamakinka. Gold Edition was also a prolific calf-getter regularly producing around 100 naturally produced calves annually with reliable consistency in quality and his daughters forming the backbone of Bullamakinka breeding herd.

Ned Kelly was purchased in 2018 from Rosevale Stud for the top price of $47,500. We were impressed with his combination of fertility and growth traits and the consistency of his sire Rosevale Jackeroo J556 (P). His semen morphology is 93%. Ned Kelly has a beautiful temperament and fine, slick coat. Ned was used in the Eidsvold herd briefly before moving to the Greenup Stud, where we have used him extensively. Ned’s well-balanced functionality has clicked well with the carcass, growth and breed characteristics of the Greenup Eidsvold Station herds. His first sons sold in 2021 to a top of $85,000 for Eidsvold Station Raj to C & E Fox’s Cooinda Stud. Greenup Sentinel S60 (P) selling to Walker Family’s, Strathmore Stud for $60,000. Greenup Shaque S40 (PP) and Greenup U-Rock U28 (P) selling to C & K Mitchell, Gradna Pastoral for $38,000 and $30,000respectively. Greenup Senator sold to Col & Glenda Semple for $24,000 and Greenup Bushranger U64 (P) sold to J & K McLoughlin for $22,000. Several sons have been retained for Greenup and Eidsvold Station stud herds.
