Target Livestock & Marketing
Breed: Angus Type: Embryo
Sire: MERIT INVESTMENT 1054J Dam: TARGET TIBBIE W3
CHOICE LOT 1A OR 1B — OR TAKE BOTH | TransOva Australia: An incredible opportunity to access impactful maternal power from the heart of the Target Livestock herd. The genetics that these packages represent are truly some of our best and most exciting. Target Tibbie W3 is a direct daughter of the highly sought after HF Tibbie 21J donor and the ever powerful sire Ellingson Badlands 0285, who's semen was never available in Australia! This female combines two powerful genetic influences in one unreal mating. Nicknamed “Tank,” she certainly lives up to her name, with the kind of dimension that demands attention. She is a powerful, long-bodied female with plenty of natural substance, combining depths of quality and capacity with the maternal foundation behind one of the breed’s most sought after donor cows. The opportunity gets even more exciting with two sire options, allowing you to take this mating in two different directions — Lot 1A: 3 x Embryos sired by Merit Investment 1054J or Lot 1B: 3 x Embryos sired by Greenwood Four Mile 47J. Both matings offer the opportunity to build on this female’s outstanding maternal reputation while introducing two exciting genetic influences. Choose 1A, choose 1B, or take BOTH. Either way, this is a rare chance to secure a female with the pedigree, phenotype, power and maternal potential to make a lasting impact in a serious breeding program.

Lot 31 - 5 x units - Six Mile Hummel Caracho 908M

Canadian Sires & Donors
Breed: Angus Type: Semen straw
Sire: DON JOSE 2105 CARACHO 854 T/E Dam: FORGING RUBETA 7653
When Six Mile Hummel Caracho 908M sold in the New Year’s Resolution Sale, Canadian Sires + Donors saw an opportunity to bring a different pedigree and an exceptional Argentine cow family into our the Canadian cattle industry and abroad. They were proud to purchase Caracho for $132,500 and are excited about what he can contribute to Angus breeders across the world. Caracho is the result of embryos imported directly from Cabaña La Rubeta in Argentina. His dam, Rubeta 7653 Forjadora, made such a strong impression on the Hummel family during their first visit to Argentina that, when she became available, they purchased a half interest in her. The depth behind her is equally compelling. A full sister to the dam of Caracho and his flush brother, Rubeta 7627 Pommery, was Grand Champion Female at the 2018 Palermo Expo. What draws us to this pedigree is the breeding philosophy behind it. La Rubeta has built its cattle around longevity, easy fleshing ability, muscle, maternal quality and practical performance. The Forjadora family has stood the test of time in a program that places real selection pressure on its cow herd. Those are qualities we value, and they give us confidence in the foundation behind Caracho. We believe Caracho offers breeders a chance to add proven Argentine maternal genetics with a fresh pedigree. We look forward to seeing the mark he makes as his first progeny arrive and breeders put this exciting breeding piece to work.
