• Kate, is a 2 yr old collie bitch, bred out of my best Collie Bitch “Bell” (by a station bred collie and out of a Swan Spud collie bitch) and she’s by a dog called Leeway Herb (which is by a NZ dog called Beau of Nick Clydsdale, out of a bitch “leeway Tash”. She’s a good paddock dog with a nice cast, strength on her stock and good natural balance. Works sheep and Cattle. Also shows good strength on cows and calves. And is silent.

• Trev is showing great natural ability. Being 7 months of ages he’s a cool calm type of pup that’s showing strong signs of nose and heal bite. He balances on sheep and has been shown lightly to weaners. Trevs bred to be tough, with his parents and grandparents being main dogs mustering coastal and New England scrub country. Trev follows a horse/buggy and has an established sit and recall.

• Grizzly Sisco – 3 Year Old Red & Tan Registered Kelpie Sisco is a no fuss working dog ready to go on with. Sisco carries Karana and Allora bloodlines, adding proven working genetics behind him. He works confidently in the yards on his own and responds well to backing commands. In the paddock, he will work both sheep and cattle, though he is best suited as part of a team in the paddock. Sisco will bite both ends on cattle and requires a muzzle when working sheep. While he has had minimal work overall, he has been in consistent work over the past three months and is now confidently backing in the race. He also barks naturally when needed, though he is generally not overly vocal. A solid young dog with quality breeding and plenty of potential to continue developing in the right hands.

• Davidson Winnie, known as Win, is a big leggy, strong boned bitch and is a great asset within the team. Winnie is a great all-rounder, she will work both sheep and cattle and will work off bike, buggy or horse. She has a clean nose bite on cattle, and has no bark on stock. Winnie works in both a team and solo and is a very loyal dog. Her Dam Davidsons Tina is out of Kenyons Kay by Badger. She is our main bitch with a 3 point bite, nose, heel and front foot. Her Sire Yarrums Tex is by Crawfords Lex out of Yarrums Nancy, Nancy carries the lines of Shady Acres Mambo and Yarrums Chime. Winnie has the breeding to be a potential brood bitch later on in life and we believe would be a great dog for someone either starting out or building their team.

He has been worked on sheep and dry cattle and bites both ends. He will follow a bike or a horse and is good with a whip, other dogs, chooks and kids. He has a good stop and call off.

• Ted is a well grown, athletic type with a solid drive. He is a stylish dog with a very clean nose/heal bite and a big presence. Ted has a well-established foundation and is mainly used mustering cows and calves or on dry stock additionally he will also work sheep and goats. He has mainly been worked behind a horse or buggy and is not whip shy. With the wealth of breeding behind Ted I’m certain that he has got the right mind frame and style to become a trial dog in the right hands. Ted would be a great asset to someone looking to start out as he works independently no matter the task or to a person that’s looking to expand their pack.

• Mia was bred by Ben Coster, sold as a pup. I then purchased her as a 2yr old. She’s a good reliable paddock dog shows good eye control and natural balance on her stock, with a good cast and is a good lead dog. Is mostly silent but barks a little bit when pushing stock. Works sheep cattle and goats.

• Scotch Valley Thunder is a late maturing dog. Started on sheep at 12/13 months of age. Thunder is coming along nicely with good sit/stop, left, right and recall. Thunder has a nice cast with natural balance and distance off stock. A pleasure to have around. Gets on well with other dogs. Thunder is by Waddell Mac out of my good cow/calf bitch Scotch Valley Dotti. Will be started on cattle prior to sale.

• Dot has a clean nose bite and responds well to training. Has won a Stockman’s Dog Trial on her first start at Nowendoc in November 2025. Dot has had 12months training and full-time work by the time of sale. Extensive weaner education work as well as mustering/shifting yearling cattle and sheep on foot and from buggy. Dot is a well-mannered dog with a gentle nature and is a pleasure to have in the camp. Will work alone as well as in a team. Only for sale as I feel she will be wasted in our Cow & Calf operation. Dot is whip shy.
