This mare is the Matriarch of our cutting mares, naturally we sort her out because of her breeding being by Peptos Stylish Oak but more so because of her dam, Darlin Lil Rooster who was one of the most beautiful mares you would see and she was an NCHA Open Derby Finalist and the Comet Futurity Champion. She produced the likes of Playin With Pepto who was a great show horse with earnings of $26,691.00 and he produced the NCHA Open Futurity Champion, Rooster Lena and Roosters Lil Darlin who has proven to be one of the leading dams of cutting horses in Australia. Her dam, Shortys Darlin by Shorty Lena was the Open Champion at the Fort Worth Stock Show in the USA. She walks a bit gingerly in the front and as long as she is trimmed regularly, she has no issues. We lost her 2023 colt sired by Peptos Stylish Oak and she sells with a 2024 breeding to Peptos Stylish Oak and a 2025 breeding to legendary (imp).
