These heifers were very easy to move and worked very well through the yards. Small % got slightly agitated in the crush. They all settled nicely once back in a mob together.

72 FLATBACK YEARLING HEIFERS. 2 DECKS OF HEIFERS THAT ARE SET UP TO BACKGROUND INTO THE DOMESTIC FEEDER MARKETS. THESE HEIFERS SHOW GOOD WEIGHT FOR AGE, WITH GOOD BONE, FRAME & EVEN MUSCLING. THEY WEIGHED 253KG TO 381KG & AVERAGED 302KG AT ASSESSMENT. THSE HEIFERS HAVE HAD AN AVERAGE DAILY WEIGHT GAIN OF 1KG SINCE THE 18/03/25. THE MAJORITY OF THESE HEIFERS ALL EXHIBIT LESS THAN 50% BOS INDICUS BREED CONTENT WITH NO HUMP TO SLIGHT HUMP. IT WAS NOTED THAT 2 HEIFER HAD MINIMAL FLY BITE SCARING. THESE HEIFERS ARE THE SISTERS TO THE 71 YEARLING HEIFERS AND WOULD MAKE A NEAT 4 DECKS. VENDOR HAS ANOTHER 3 LOTS IN THIS SALE. PLEASE NOTE DELIVERY IS ON FARM 60KM SOUTH OF HUGHENDEN WITH 7 KM OF BLACK SOIL ROAD SO DELIVERY IS WEATHER DEPENDENT. THESE HEIFERS ARE FROM A PRICKLY ACIACA FREE PROPERTY & ARE IN A TICK FREE AREA.
