Lot 50 - QUINCEYS ISSI

WELLS BEEF SHORTHORN STUD
• Shorthorn • PTIC Cow & Calf
• Sire: RAMBELRS MEMORY • Dam: MARELLAN MARGIES MEMORY
• KJWP701 Quincey’s Issi is a red, little-white cow with large capacity, plenty of presence, and strong eye appeal. She is feminine, highly maternal, very productive, and a heavy milker, with good udder and teat placement. Issi’s son Brunello (Lot 59) mirrors her presence and style. She is by Wells Ramblers Memory, a roan bull with frame, capacity, and power, whose sire was Belmore Ramblers, noted for his exceptionally quiet temperament. That same temperament carried through to Wells Quincey, who would load onto a truck without a race on a simple walk-up. To say Issi is quiet is an understatement, and this outstanding temperament carries through all her progeny. Issi consistently breeds quality bulls, with Brunello and Dolfi as prime examples. Dolfi, by Merlot, is a full brother to Brunello with different white markings, however mirrors Brunello’s length, muscle, and softness. He has six traits above breed average, including REA in the top 15% and YG in the top 20%. Issi’s dam, Marellan Margie’s Memory 3230, was one of two heifers purchased as six-month-old at the 2014 Royalla sale. Her pedigree combines Belmore, Marellan, and Royalla bloodlines. Issi is PTIC to Smokin Velvet, a mating expected to be highly successful. She is DNA tested SV, myostatin negative, and HOP, with five traits above breed average, notably YG and REA in the top 1% and CW in the top 2%. Issi 701 with Dolfi offers performance and an exceptional temperament.
