Speriby North Angus

Owned and operated by Arthur and Sandra Cox in northern New South Wales, Speriby North has built a reputation for producing quality Black Angus cattle with a clear focus on performance, carcase merit and meeting market demand.

Alongside a commercial herd, Speriby North runs an Angus Performance Recorded herd, using objective data and careful selection to continually improve herd genetics. With a renowned feedlot at our doorstep, breeding objectives evolved over time to meet the requirements of the Japanese B3 market, with an emphasis on higher yielding cattle with superior carcase merit, particularly marbling.

As demand for Speriby North genetics grew, the operation began holding on property bull sales every May, providing producers with the opportunity to access bulls bred under commercial conditions and selected for performance and carcase traits. These sales later evolved to include AuctionsPlus, allowing Speriby North genetics to reach a broader buying audience across Australia.

Speriby North also began offering surplus EU-accredited weaner heifers through AuctionsPlus. This provided commercial producers with access to quality, performance focused Angus females backed by the same breeding objectives that underpin the Speriby North herd.

Today, Speriby North continues to focus on producing cattle that combine performance, carcase quality and commercial relevance, with a breeding program shaped by both objective data and the needs of the Australian beef industry.
