A/c Ardrossan Angus offer 200 excellent quality NSM Angus heifers, 10-11 months to be offered in 8 lots of 25 sold run out the gate. This is the rarest of opportunities to secure “classed in” females out of the heart of the Ardrossan Angus commercial herd. These heifers are best described as predominantly large frame relative to age presenting in fresh store condition with a weight range at assessment of 300-388kg to AV:347kg at delivery and come with both agents highest endorsement. The area is having a very cold & wet winter & as a result a large number of these heifers are showing some light rub marks on the body and 20% have ringworm on the head/neck. 6 heifers were observed with light old pink eye scaring in 1 eye only, please refer to media. It’s the assessors opinion that these “classed in” future breeders could only improve any commercial program lucky enough to secure them. Please note highest bidder will have the opportunity to take multiple lots at the fall of the hammer.

These future matrons are pure Ardrossan Angus bred & blood. Ardrossan Angus stud was established in 1987 and has always run a large commercial program alongside the stud allowing Ardrossan to continually produce “fit for purpose” cattle.

Sired by son’s of industry shaping Ardrossan Angus sires A241,A2,W109 & E11(Edmund Son’s).

After assessment heifers were put onto the Talmalmo Station river flats with these pastures consisting of phalaris, rye grass & clover. Heifers are currently weight gaining at a rate of 1.3 KGS/DAY.

We are very proud to offer this run of heifers as part of our on property bull sale. Buy with confidence, these heifers are “classed in” out of the heart of the Ardrossan Angus commercial herd. Note vendor will palpate every heifer prior to delivery.
