Heifers were drafted before assessment to spilt the steer portion out. Heifers drafted extremely well through the pound with little force needed. Heifers responded well to pressure & looked for open gates. 12 Heifers did become agitated whilst confined in the crush but once released settled quickly.

Offering 102 Good quality Drougthmaster Weaner Heifers. Heifers were bred on the renowned "Herbertvale Station" which runs a very good herd of Droughtmasters Cattle that have been using Glenlands Genetics for over 40 years. Heifers exhibit good length & weight for age whilst having strong Droughtmaster characteristics. Heifers are good even nice line that are on the whole very tidy around the head with only 5 having some slight calf horn still. Heifers were weaned last week & have been in the yards since on good quality Rhodes Grass hay. Heifers have settled extremely well & were a pleasure to draft & access. Vendor is offering free delivery to the Cloncurry "Clean Yards" for easy movement for purchasers. Ideal heifers to take on as future breeders or back grounders. *Please note 4 heifers with slight fly irritation, not deemed detrimental*
