19 lovely quiet, well handled, very well bred Santa Gertrudis cows. 10 have been classified as "S" cows, while 9 have not been presented to the Classifier. They have been purchased from leading studs including Yulgilba, & Riverslea, to breed quiet well bred heifers to suit a large coastal market. This sale represents a dispersal of these well sourced cows, as the family changes its focus to backgrounding steers. The cow H158 does not have a calf, which was weaned earlier in the year but is over 4 months in calf. The heifer - R28 is tested 12weeks in calf with her first calf. The cow 34H has 2 calves at foot and is over 4months in calf. K281 is a Yulgilba bred cow. Cows weighed 444 - 696kg average 601 at assessment. 18 calves weighed from 130kg - 380kg & averaged 266kg with 7 steer calves averaging 315kg and 11 heifer calves averaged 235kg.
